Boiler relocation and replacement in Hanwell, Ealing

The job

A homeowner in Hanwell, Ealing had their combi boiler in the downstairs toilet, mounted right above the toilet itself. It made the room very cramped. They were planning a bathroom remodel upstairs and wanted the boiler moved into the upstairs bathroom, where it could eventually sit inside a cupboard. So the job was a boiler replacement and a relocation in one: take the old boiler out, move it upstairs and fit a new one.

What we did

We recommended a Vaillant combi boiler, which comes with a 10 year manufacturer warranty. We removed the old combi boiler from the downstairs toilet and moved all the pipework serving the boiler up to the new location in the upstairs bathroom. We then installed a new Vaillant ecoFIT pure 830 combination boiler and fitted a Vaillant magnetic filter alongside it. There were no challenges along the way and everything went as planned.

The result

The whole boiler replacement in Hanwell was completed in one day, with minimal disruption and hardly any decorating to be carried out afterwards. The downstairs toilet no longer has a boiler hanging over it, and the new boiler is now exactly where the customer wanted it. They can go ahead with their bathroom remodel and have the boiler boxed inside a cupboard. A delighted customer, and a tidy relocation and replacement for a home in Ealing.
